As week 3 of the 2024 NASCAR Season took the checkered flag, Camaro too followed suit winning for the third consecutive time this season in what promises to be a bittersweet year for the Last Generation Camaro.
Days before the 2024 Daytona 500 we shared a story about "Camaro's Last Lap" in what is expected to be the final season for Camaro in NASCAR's Premier Series. As fate would have it, William Byron and the iconic No. 24 Camaro ZL1 team rose to the occasion, scoring a sentimental victory in what is likely to be Camaro's last Daytona 500 for the foreseeable future.
This year marks the final chapter for the Camaro, at least in its current form. With Chevrolet's future plans in NASCAR remaining under wraps, speculation runs rampant. Rumors have suggested the Corvette or Malibu wouldn't be entering the Cup Series, leaving no apparent sedan substitute for 2025 and beyond (as of now).
