Chevrolet Camaros continued their strong showing in the 2024 NASCAR season, conquering Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas with victories in both the Xfinity Series and Cup Series races over the weekend.

Saturday's Xfinity Series race saw a thrilling battle between Team Chevy Camaros. Rookie standout Shane van Gisbergen, a V8 Supercars legend, appeared headed for victory until a late caution forced a pit stop shuffle. Kyle Larson's #17 team gambled on fresh tires, putting him strategically ahead of the field on the 3.41-mile road course. Despite starting pole, Larson's one lap leading the pack was the most crucial one, securing his 15th career Xfinity Series win.

The Camaro dominance continued on Sunday. Daytona 500 champion William Byron, starting from pole position, showcased blistering speed from the drop of the green flag in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race. While pit stops shuffled the lead only a handful of times, Byron maintained dominant control of the race, leading for 42 of the 68 laps. This victory marks Byron's 12th in the NASCAR Cup Series and the 4th win for the Chevrolet Camaro in just 6 races this season. Camaro drivers solidified their presence by claiming 5 positions in the Top 10.
