Camaro Claims 18th Win of 2024 at the Roval | CamaroStoreOnline.com Race Recap
Kyle Larson dominated at the Bank of America Roval 400, taking his sixth win of the season and his second career victory at the Charlotte Roval. Leading a remarkable 62 of 109 laps, Larson took control of the race on lap 77 from fellow Chevrolet Camaro driver AJ Allmendinger, who led 14 laps during the event. Notably, Shane Van Gisbergen, who started from the pole, led 21 laps before finishing in 7th place. Together, Team Chevy Camaros combined to lead 102 laps in another truly dominating performance this season.
With Larson’s victory, Camaros have officially guaranteed they’ll win at least 50% of this year’s races, an impressive feat with four events still remaining in the 36-race season.
Playoff Camaros: Larson Leads, Byron and Elliott Advance
- Kyle Larson continued his stellar season, leading 62 laps en route to his sixth win, securing his spot in the Playoff Round of 8.
- William Byron locked in his place in the next round with a strong 3rd place finish, continuing to establish himself as a silent threat.
- Chase Elliott delivered a solid performance, finishing 5th and advancing to the Round of 8.
- Alex Bowman looked to advance after a strong day, including a Stage 2 win, but was disqualified post-race due to a weight infraction. The relegation to a last place finish effectively eliminated Bowman from the Playoffs after a career run.
- Daniel Suarez needed a win to move on but struggled with a 30th place finish, ending his championship bid.

Round of 8 Kicks Off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Three Camaros remain in the hunt for the championship as the series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway to begin the Round of 8. A win in this round guarantees a spot in the Championship finale at Phoenix. With momentum on their side, Team Camaro will be looking to secure their 19th victory and lock in a chance to compete for the title.
