Seatbelt removal is not required to install this item.
We've had customers successfully install the trim on the alternate seat design by carefully trimming the carbon fiber around the seatbelt mounting area. However, this modification is not required or recommended for the intended fitment and is performed entirely at the customer's discretion. Any cutting, trimming, sanding, or other modification to the carbon fiber part will void the product warranty and make the item ineligible for return or exchange.
