What This Is
A custom-sewn leather cover for your existing 1993-1996 Camaro center console armrest lid. It stretches over the lid and is held tight by the lid's plastic backing piece. It does not include an armrest lid.

Installation

You'll remove the lid, take off its backing piece, stretch the cover over it, and reassemble.

Photos show a 1997-2002 lid; the 1993-1996 process is the same.
Step 1. Open the console and remove the screws holding the lid hinge to the console.
Step 2. Turn the lid upside down and remove the 6 screws on the bottom.
Step 3. Remove the plastic backing piece, hinge, and latch.
Step 4. Stretch the cover over the lid, lining it up at the corners.
Step 5. Check the fit all the way around.
Step 6. Check again for wrinkles and alignment.
Step 7. Flip the lid over and reinstall the hinge.
Step 8. Reinstall the plastic backing piece (make sure the latch is on its tracks). It clamps the cover edges down tight.
Step 9. Finished lid, ready to reinstall.
Step 10. Screw the hinge back onto the console.
Step 11. Finished armrest, installed.
Leather care: apply a leather conditioner with UV protection every 4-6 weeks to keep it from drying out and cracking.
