Chevrolet Camaro 1990-1992 Steering Wheel Reupholstery Kit 4-Spoke
This product is handmade in Europe and can take up to eight weeks to arrive. No returns or exchanges accepted.
What This Is
A custom-sewn leather wrap that you lace onto your existing 1990-1992 Camaro steering wheel by hand. It reupholsters both the rim and the spokes for a factory-style finish. It is not a slip-on steering wheel cover, and it does not include a steering wheel.
- Leather factory wheel: the old leather is removed and replaced by this wrap.
What's Included
- Included: 1 leather steering wheel wrap, made to order in your chosen material and colors, plus needle and thread for lacing.
- Not included: steering wheel or tools.
Before You Order
- Fits the 1990-1992 Camaro 4-spoke steering wheel without thumbgrips only. Not for 1982-1989 wheels. Have the raised thumbgrips at 9 and 3 o'clock? Use our 4-spoke kit with thumbgrips. Have the 3-spoke IROC-Z wheel? Use our IROC-Z kit.
- Each wrap is made to order, so it can take up to 8 weeks to arrive and can't be returned or exchanged. Please confirm your wheel and colors before ordering.
- International shipping: every piece ships from Poland, so a $15 international shipping charge applies to each item at checkout.
Installation
Difficulty: Advanced | Tools: tools to remove the airbag and steering wheel, contact adhesive for leather, scissors or a utility knife, small clamps or clips
You'll glue the wrap to your wheel and lace it on by hand.
This is a hand-stitching project. Most installers remove the wheel from the car, which means removing the airbag first. Follow the airbag precautions in your service manual. If you'd rather not do it yourself, an auto upholstery shop can install it for you.
Test-fit before anything else. Pull the wrap onto the wheel before gluing or cutting. It will be tight, but it won't tear if you stretch it evenly. Check that the spoke sections line up and that the gap between the edges is even all the way around. Don't do anything you can't undo until you're sure it fits, and contact us with any questions.

The video shows a different vehicle, but the process is the same for your Camaro wheel.
Leather care: apply a leather conditioner with UV protection every 4-6 weeks to keep it from drying out and cracking.
